Kathy's first layout with the 'Travel Stories' kit

Good morning!
Today I am excited to share Kathy's first layout she created with the April Scraps Of Darkness kit 'Travel Stories'

She started with the blue paper from G45 included in the Pattern Paper Add On and ripped the edges of off-white Kaisercraft paper.  She flicked a few spots of white and black ink on the background, then mixed blue paint with modeling paste to get a rich teal blue paste that she adhered using the new Dusty Attic stencil.  I splattered more black and white ink and then covered random places around the layout with joint tape then splattered more black ink.

She used several mats for the photo including a G45 card included in the Elements Add On. She cut a clock in half which is a die cut from the Story Book Collection Die Cuts packet included in the Elements Add On then glued the clocks to both sides of the photo mat.

She created a circle of twine, tied it on the right edge then added little wooden stars, and two little burlap tags.

She cut a blue tag from the Pattern Paper Add On for the far left side and tucked some cheesecloth behind it.  She used a piece of corrugated cardboard and then added a bunch of goodies.  She first cut a long banner tag and then adhered snap tape I found at the local fabric store. Then clipped various tags included in the kit to each of them.

Last she created a little collage at the top right of the page.  She used a tag included in the Main Kit and cut two little strips of paper which she punch with a notebook edge.  Last she added a little wooden globe piece to symbolize for Chase that the world is his for the taking!!!

Thanks for stopping by!
