Patricia's gorgeous canvas with step by step photos

We've got a little gorgeousness to share today...
Patricia has created this beautiful pink mixed media canvas, using various items we carry in the store:
Here's what Patricia says about her canvas:

I created a 8'x8' canvas board for this project. A nice size to start with if you have never done a canvas. I find creating on a canvas fun and relaxing...just play with different mediums and techniques and try not to stress too much to achieve perfection.
Today I have a few step-by-step photos...and a linked list of products at the end of the post.

I started by priming the canvas with Dina Wakley Clear Gesso because I knew I was going to use a stencil with Clear Crackle Paint and I did not want my Spray Mist to colour the background. Here you can see I used different stamps and Black Archival Ink to start an out line for my design. Very often the first layers of a design will get lost after several layers of mediums, but it does help to have the out line to start off with, as it can be daunting to just work on a 'clean' canvas.

Next I layered strips of the Heidi Swapp Definition Stickers, some gauze from my own stash and Color Fragments and Embossing Enamels from Stampendous. I used Dina Wakley Gel medium to adhere all my elements. The set I used was from a previous Scraps of Elegance kit, it was the Jewel Pink Kit. In the shop there is a similar kit called the Stampendous Fran-Tage Encrusted Jewel Kit: Gold. The kit has 5 vials filled with different embossing enamels, fragments and glass glitters. Fun to use!!!
Here is a typical example of a design that got lost later on under paints ext...but now I can go and duplicate it on another project, thinking a card perhaps and then stop at this stage as not to loose the effect of the Script stickers!

I covered the complete canvas with the Rebecca Baer Stencil: Flights of Fancy using a Crackle Paint. I sprinkled some Minnie Pearls Prills on the wet crackle paint. After drying, I sprayed with Prima Color Bloom Spray: Cotton Candy and Lindy's Bodacious Blush.

The Prima wood elements were painted with the two sprays and some Distress Inks. The Melissa Frances Resin Frame was given some random Crackle Paint and also sprayed with both the sprays.

I have to once again mention that I think US Artquest Prills are just the absolute, most gorgeous design elements that I own at the moment! Here I used a good amount of the Minnie Pearls in the corner of the frame. I also used Aged Rose embossing Enamel in the corner...love the golden specks it has. I used Gesso to highlight the Prills and other elements on the canvas.

My flowers are beautiful Petaloo Antique Rose blooms with a few Prima Magnolia Floral Lace trims underneath.
